Sunday, June 15th, 2008Despite earlier talk of Mercenaries 2 possible coming to Nintendo’s Wii, it is now looking increasingly unlikely that Pandemic’s eagerly awaited game will ever happen due to the technical limitations of the innovative platform when compared to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Speaking with Video Gamer recently, the developer’s Cory Lewis went against what Cameron Brown, Creative Director at Pandemic, had previously stated, saying Mercenaries 2 would be a tough fit for the Wii. This is despite the fact that he first of all goes on about just how much has been packed into the PlayStation 2 edition and how amazing it is just what could be pulled off on the far older, much weaker platform.
