Identity theft is one of the most common criminal acts in today’s society. If you are a victim of identity theft, you can months, or even years, trying to remedy the damage. Credit information at risk can ruin your chances of finding a new job, a loan, insurance or even housing. It is true that it is possible that you could be terminated for a crime that you are not committed if another person has to secure your identity against the law.
